A relay (part number 8617) may be necessary to connect this device to a keyless entry or alarm system. Need a heavy duty solenoid to pop your trunk? Take a look at the SIL-40K. It has 40 pounds of pull. Solenoid Dimensions: The solenoid body is 1 1/2 inches in diameter and 4 inches in length. The solenoid/cable retract 1/2 inch.
