Before inserting the regulator in the door, the motor mounting bracket, spacers and extra mounting bolts are removed. The wheeled bar is also removed from the regulator mounting pad.
The bottom mounting bracket hole is located on the door and a 1/4 inch hole is drilled. A long (6mm thread by 40 mm long) temporary bolt is placed through the hole and loosely screwed in to the bottom bracket. These kits use all metric fasteners. Most of them are 6mm with 10mm hex heads.
