Spal 30102802HO 12 inch High Output electric radiator cooling fan with long life motor. This heavy duty fan was designed to have the power to pull air through a 4 row radiator and air conditioning condenser! This fan has specially designed large curved blades and a high power motor for maximum performance. Spal fan motors are waterproof and the fan and motor are balanced as an assembly to assure smooth reliable operation. This is one of the most powerful 12 inch fans made. Don't let the specs fool you, the specially designed blades on this fan allow it to pull a greater volume of air through a 4 row radiator and condenser than most other fans. Most fans are designed for optimum performance with single and dual row radiators. This fan has 4 mounting tabs molded into the shroud, plus it has 4 mounting slots which can accept the optional, standard spal mounting brackets if desired. Mounting brackets are sold in 4 piece sets and can be chosen from the options list above if desired. Bracket kits are available at discounted price only when purchased with a Spal Fan. Important! This fan draws a constant 40-45 amps and close to 100 amps at strartup. In order for the fan to operate properly, relays and wiring must be able to handle this current. Also note that the vehicle alternator must be able to handle the extra current load. If not, the fan will drain your battery.
