Emergency release cable used in conjunction with pop door kits. Allows keyed entry into vehicles with shaved door handles. Lock cylinder is mounted in fenderwell, to firewall or behind grill (may need long cable) and connected to cable which is run to the door latch to allow door to be opened in case of battery or solenoid failure. Kit comes with steel cable and covered steel cable casing, lock cylinder with 2 keys and misc hardware. Standard kit comes with 7 foot cable. Optional 11 foot cable can be ordered for longer runs, such as mounting behind the grill.
