This setup gets you everything you need to install power door locks, keyless entry and an alarm system in a 2 door vehicle with rod actruated door locks. (normal lock system)The Swiss made MES lock kit includes premium low friction door lock actuators that are designed to be compatible with most cars and trucks with standard rod actuated door lock linkage. This kit is central locking, which means that simply locking or unlocking either door from the knob or key will automatically lock or unlock the other door.
This setup comes with the Avital 3103 Security System. The 3103 is a full featured, fully programmable alarm system made by Directed Electronics, the leader in automotive security and the maker of Viper and Clifford alarms. High reliability and great features make this system a great value. This system comes with:

This alarm requires use of relay (8617) to connect channel 2 and 3 outputs and domelight illumination. This system has built in relays for starter kill and flashing lights Please note that good auto electrical skills and a vehicle wiring diagram may be necessary to install some of the alarm features.
The remote controls are constantly evolving and may vary slightly from the photo. Current remote controls have black buttons.
Please note that this kit comes complete with installation hardware (rods, clamps, straps and screws). Some of us find it useful to have an extra set of rods, rod clamps and slotted straps to experiment with before making the final installation. Order the Extra set of hardware from the options above and we will send you 2 extra rods, 2 extra clamps and 2 extra straps.
