Many newer vehicles like the Focus and Matrix come with a cable that connects the knob with the latch rather than the typical rod style linkage. This kit is central locking, which means that simply locking or unlocking either front door from the knob or key will automatically lock or unlock the other doors.
Optional door lock switches are also available for this system. See part numbers DLSW-1, DLSW-LT & SK1-OEGM. Want to add ignition controlled door locks without adding a keyless entry? Just install a DP452T with your lock kit.
