Replacing a broken cable style power window
regulator in a 1992 Nissan Maxima

maxima with broken window regulator

This Nissan Maxima drove into the service bay of Kid's Automotive in Gardena California with the left front window open and the power window making an awful racket whenever it was tried.

The door panel on the drivers door was removed, so that the power window mechanism could be inspected and tested if necessary.

Once the door panel was removed, it was obvious to the mechanic that the cables that run from the window rail to the motor were broken.
