This kit is designed to add power door locks and keyless entry to 2007 to 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK 4 door. For full doors only, will not fit half doors.
This bolt in kit is assembled in the USA and comes with our high torque, low friction, compact door lock actuators. The actuators come mounted on custom mounting plates, with pre-bent linkage rods and hardware. The kit includes a custom wiring harness with quick disconnects for the doors. The Avital 2103 keyless entry system drives the system. This system locks and unlocks the doors by remote control.
An optional tailgate actuator installation kit is available and can be ordered from the options at the right. The actuator, mounting bracket, linkage and wiring come with the tailgate kit.
The AVI-2103 is made by Directed Electronics, the same company that makes Clifford and Viper alarms. It's a top of the line keyless entry system that complements our top of the line door lock systems. This keyless entry system has ignition controlled door locks, LED indicator, 2 code hopping water resistant remote controls that use long life lithium batteries, flashing parking light output (with built in relay), dome light supervision output with built in relay (turns dome light on for 30 seconds when unlocking doors by remote control), two auxillary outputs and a starter kill output. The starter kill requires an 8618 starter kill relay or equivalent and the auxillary outputs require 8617 or similar relays.
The optional AVI-3103 Security system is also made by Directed Electronics. It is a reliable system that incorporates the alarm system and keyless entry. The alarm system comes prewired to the locks to simplify installation. This system has ignition controlled door locks, LED indicator, 2 code hopping water resistant remote controls that use long life lithium batteries, flashing parking light output (with built in relay), dome light supervision output that turns dome light on for 30 seconds when unlocking doors by remote control (requires 8617 relay), an auxillary output and starter kill. Some of the alarm wiring, such as the door switches, will require advanced auto electrical skills such as soldering and the use of diodes.
